City Market Merchants

Monday through Saturday, year-round, the City Market houses a wide variety of local and international delicacies to tempt the palate. Delicious aromas rise from the aisles of stalls which house butchers, bakers, fruit peddlers, sausage makers, fishmongers, delicatessen and cheese vendors, and more.

Farmers still bring in their fresh locally-grown produce in season, just as they have been doing for over a hundred years. And local craftspeople come to the Market with hand knitted socks, hats, mitts, perfect for gift giving; handmade dolls, baskets, wreaths and seasonal decorations; and fresh homemade cakes, pies and breads.

And always, there's fresh seafood of all kinds, including live or cooked lobsters which the fishmongers will gladly pack for shipping. Lobster rolls, deli, sandwiches, fresh salads - eat -in or take-out there's great food to be found all through the Market.
