Certified Floral Designers at the Market!

Jane Wilson and Diane Borgerson, the sister team behind Jane’s Fresh Flowers, have just returned from an intensive 3-week course at the Canadian Institute of Floral Design in Toronto, Ontario. They are now two of only a handful of certified Floral Designers in the area. The women met people who had travelled from all over North America to take the training. “The course was very good and a lot of fun! We learned about different types of flowers, and had hands-on instruction in arranging. They covered the business side of selling flowers too,” says Jane. “We’re happy to be home so we can start applying some of the techniques we learned.”
Jane’s Fresh Flowers is located in the centre aisle of the Market on Fridays and Saturdays. They offer fresh-cut flowers, plants, and floral design for businesses, weddings, funerals, and special events.
